Hello, our name is Jeremy and Ann Nafziger. We live in Gibson City IL. I(Ann) got my start in the Belgian business in 1991. I bought my first Belgian Cap's Kutrena. I then bought another one in September of 1991 Cap's Rhonda , which is the horse that got me interested in showing Belgian horses. I showed her at a few shows and that is when the love began. Then I sold the Rhonda mare.
In late 1992 Jeremy came along and he ended up loving the Belgian horse also. Then in 1993 we went to a show and ended up helping Bill and Judy Crouch. They started teaching us a lot about showing the Belgian horse. Then in 1995 we bought the BJ Blessing mare from the Crouch's. We showed her in many shows. We even got 2 All-American nominations with her. She was showed in everything from halter all the way up to 6 horse hitch. We also showed her under saddle western and English. In 1998 we retired Blessing from the show circuit, and started to raise foals from her and show them.
We have helped Bill and Judy Crouch, Mick and Jeanne Liggett, Northview Belgians and Kitchenview Clydes over the years and would like to thank them for all they have taught us about showing horses. Who knew you could have so much fun and eat so much.
Now days we don't own any horses of our own, but we are still very involved in showing horses for other people. If you are ever at a draft horse show and see Bayles Belgians stop and say hi. We would be glad to visit and show you what we are showing that year.
